Red River High graduate Keava Turner is headed to medical school at LSU in the fall.  Turner outlined her journey after high school to where she is today.

2020: Graduated from LSU, 2 cancelled graduations, questioned my purpose in the world, lost some of my closest loved ones

2021: found my footing again, prioritized my peace and happiness, got my MBA

2022: FAITH and WORK…. After one difficult and exhausting cycle, I’ll be attending the Louisiana State University School of Medicine this fall.

Turner said, “I’m a living testament to God’s faithfulness. Never lose faith and claim that it’s already yours.”

Keava is the daughter of Yashica Turner, the Nursing Supervisor at the Red River Parish Health Unit.
