They discovered a great way to wrap up Vacation Bible School at Will of God Ministries.

Pastors Johnny & Valerie Cox loaded up their church vans and traveled to Arlington, Texas for a WNBA basketball game.  On Saturday they cheered on Head Coach Vickie Johnson and the Dallas Wings.

Valerie Cox said, “Seventy-four traveled with us, including church members & family. The trip was the grand  finale for our Vacation Bible School.”

You will recall that Vickie Johnson is a native of Coushatta and was an outstanding player at Coushatta High.  She played college ball at Louisiana Tech and then went on to a career as shooting guard in the WNBA.  After her active playing career, Johnson became a coach in the league.  She currently is with the Dallas Wings.
