Two Coushatta men were booked on domestic abuse and other charges in separate incidents during the prior week. Both are being held in the parish jail.
According to the most recent arrest report from the Sheriff’s Office William Coleman, Jr. of Maple Street was charged with false imprisonment, offender armed with dangerous weapon, and domestic abuse battery. Total bond for Coleman is $25,000. Coleman was booked the afternoon of July 10th.
The other person arrested was Calvin Purnell, Jr. of Highway 71. He was booked on charges of domestic abuse battery, simple battery of a person with infirmities, and domestic abuse child endangerment law. Purnell’s bond was set at $15,000. He was booked on the morning of July 11th.
