The indictments of two former employees of Red River ARC or Red River Industries have been unsealed. The specific charges against them was laid out in the documents.
Former Executive Director Eletha Seabaugh and former employee Raina Dalme were arrested on June 21st and released on bond. The parish grand jury handed down the indictments on June 14th.
Seabaugh faces the bulk of the charges. One indictment charges her with 1count of theft of over $25,000 or more from Red River Industries. The indictment said the theft occurred between January 1, 2017 and June 30, 2020. Note, June 30, 2020 was Seabaugh’s last day of employment at Red River Industries.
That indictment also has 9 counts of computer fraud. The earliest instance charged occurred on October 15, 2017 and the most recent was on September 15, 2019. The indictment charges Seabaugh with accessing a computer system with the intent to defraud to obtain money, property or services by means of false or fraudulent conduct, practices or representations or through the fraudulent alteration, deletion or insertion of programs or data.
There was another indictment against Seabaugh charging on June 29, 2019 and again on October 23, 2019 she committed theft of less than $1000.
Raina Dalme faces a one count indictment charging that between December 21, 2018 and June 30, 2020 she did possess, procure, receive, or conceal anything of value that the offender knew or had good reason to believe that the thing was the subject of these offenses. The indictment puts the value of the stolen things at $5,000 or more but less than $25,000.
