On June 7th the Red River Sheriff’s Office arrested Precious Lashae Smith of Natchitoches on two counts of pornography of a juvenile. Here bond was set at $25,000. According to the Sheriff’s weekly arrest report, Smith bonded out on June 8th.
No details of the arrest or the circumstances surrounding the charges have been made public by investigators. The Journal contacted Sheriff’s PIO Troy Murray for additional information. Murray emailed back, “I talked with Sheriff Edwards. The investigation is ongoing, and we have no comment on the case as it is pending prosecution.”
