First Baptist Coushatta reminds parents of children attending VBS that they will sing some kids songs tonight for Family Night. The church posted videos of those songs on their social media page so kids can practice in advance.
Sunday will be Bro. Mike and Ms Shirley’s 1st anniversary at Hickory Grove Baptist Church. There will be a get-together following the 10:30 Worship service. Bring your favorite “finger food” and join us.
A reader posted on social media about an individual earning a spot on the Dean’s List at NSU but not being included in recognition. The school sent a letter noting the recognition. Also noted was the fact that that individual did not have a consent to release information on file. Note to check to see if your student has filled out the form so that information about him may be released by the school.
On June 3rd NSU Provost Greg Handel wrote to William Messenger of Coushatta informing him that he had made the Dean’s List for the Spring 2022 semester.
Summer time is Vacation Bible School time. First Methodist Church on Front Street has scheduled VBS for June 27 through 30. They will meet each evening from 5:30 to 8:00 pm.
