Red River’s 4-H program recently issued a “Thank You” to the volunteers who work with the program and the students who participate.

4-H in Red River Parish could not happen without the help of our many volunteers.  The kids and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the HOURS that you invest into our program! 

Coaching our kids in project clubs, being chaperones at events, trips, and meetings, providing donations to service projects, organizing school clubs, leading club meetings, making treats for club meetings, driving kids to events, judging contests, selling, picking up, and distributing fundraiser items, staying overnight at camps, being a part of the foundation board and advisory board, decorating/driving/ riding on floats, leading  groups at Achievement day, being a sounding board for our ideas, coaching kids for 4-H U, helping in the school gardens, the list goes on and on. 

Local 4-H agent Jacque Fontenot said, “I am AMAZED every day at the outpouring of support for our program from the youngest of 4-H siblings to the oldest of family members.  Thank you for the opportunities that you help me to give to the youth of Red River Parish.”
