Red River residents turned out Easter morning for sunrise services. Before the sun had appeared over the horizon, the faithful gathered on the fishing pier at Grand Bayou. About 7:00 am there was a gathering and walk through the prayer gardens at Abbie Lane Retreat.
Rev, Stuart Sherman brought the message at Grand Bayou. The rising of the sun was shrouded in fog over the lake.
Out at Abbie Lane, Bro. Shawn Beard of Man Church had the message at the first stop, the Garden of Gethsemane. They walked to the three crosses on Calvary Hill where they heard from Bro. Thumper Miller at Open Door Fellowship. The last stop was at the Empty Tomb where Bro. Ron Thompson spoke.
