Each month Quality Ford salutes outstanding students. For February, students from Red River Academic Academy and Red River Junior High were honored. Each was presented gift cards and a balloon bouquet. They were introduced at the monthly School Board meeting on February 22nd.
The Quality Kid from Red River Academic Academy was La’ivyanna Mobley is my most improved student both behaviorally and academically. I have really been impressed with her improvement and work ethic. She has become determined to put in the work needed to master 4th grade skills. She doesn’t complain, even when she fails to be successful. She just figures out what she did wrong, how to fix it, and goes back to work. What is most rewarding is when she recognizes the benefits of her hard work. It’s then that she realizes it may be challenging, but that she can and will succeed.
Red River Junior High student Elizabeth Thomas was selected. Her nomination statement said Thomas is a pleasant student who greets others with a smile. She often shows concern for her classmates and is a very respectful young lady. Elizabeth is a very hard worker as well as a model student who spreads positivity daily. She is just an all-around great student.
