4-H Shoot 4 Youth VI Sporting Clays Fundraiser was held February 5, 2022 at Los Paloma Sporting Range and Event Center. Red River Parish 4-H Shooting Sports club participated in the fundraiser by selling raffle tickets and some shooters competing in the shoot. This fundraiser included 12 4-H parishes. The proceeds raised from this fundraiser is to support the parishes 4-H Shooting Clubs.
Red River Parish 4-H Shooting Sports Club would like to thank the sponsors from our parish for helping with this fundraiser. Sponsors were Bank of Coushatta, Cason Land and Cattle, LLC., Tray Murray’s State Farm, The York Chop, Fairview Trucking, LLC., Cason Plantation, LLC. And American Bank and Trust of Coushatta, Roy O Martin and NRA.
Participating in this event from Red River Parish were Trey Simmons, Brett Danzy Jr., Colby Dale Blanchard, Chaston Hubbard, Richard Blanchard, Seth Jones, and Brett Danzy Sr. Winning Shooters from our parish were: Adult- Brett Danzy Sr. who placed 2nd with a 93/100. Age 13 and younger- Brent Danzy who placed 3rd with 82/100.
The Red River Parish 4-H Shooting Sports Club is very proud of these shooters. Up next for our shooters will be the Caddo Classic and Northwest Regional shoot. We would like to thank all who bought raffle tickets and volunteered for this event.
