Bulldog Baseball is underway. On Tuesday, Red River Varsity Baseball had their 1st scrimmage. They beat Southwood 10 to 5. And on Saturday they will have a scrimmage at home at 11:00 am.
A concerned citizen contacted the Journal concerning a recent change to an intersection in the parish. This is the intersection of WPA, Holly Springs and Kellogg roads. Also, people need to know that these roads speed limits are 35 mph. This matter had been discussed by the Police Jury at the last two monthly meetings.
“What do I do with an old flag?” Someone asked me the other day, so it’s time for a reminder. VFW Post 7287 and Randy’s Hardware maintain a drop-off box on the front porch of Randy’s. Flags deposited will be properly disposed of by the post.
