CNA Student Fundraiser

Red River High’s Certified Nursing Assistant students are preparing for clinicals this spring.  They held a fundraiser last week to help pay for their uniforms.

On Friday they cooked and sold hamburger plates, complete with all the trimmings, chips, a drink, and a desert.

The Coushatta Veterans of Foreign Wars Post and Auxiliary 7287 helped coordinate the project along with Tammie and Tabatha at the Coushatta Burger King.  Burger King is a national supporter of the VFW.  In addition, Rivertown Market donated several of the ingredients for the burgers.

When the final count was done, the CNA students had raised over half the funds needed for their nursing uniforms.
