The US flag at the Ringgold Nursing Care Center had become worn and was no longer serviceable. And a new one was not available.
Coushatta VFW Commander Barry McCoy said, “The Nursing home director had ordered a flag and been waiting for it for months. One of their employees called me to ask about a flag. The VFW Post had one.
McCoy traveled to Ringgold to take the flag. Then he raised it on their flagpole. The old worn flag will be disposed of properly.
