Red River Elementary School’s Student of Year is 5th grader Erah Lillo. Erah’s parents are Edilyn Lillo Price and Billy Price. She was born in Bayambang Pangasinan, Philippines. Her motto is “The dream today is the realization for tomorrow.”

Erah’s teachers had great things to say about her. Erah is an outstanding student and an absolute joy to teach!  She takes care of her business in the classroom and sets high expectations for herself daily.  She is attentive and engaged in every lesson. Whether a classroom discussion, daily work, or an assessment, she puts in her best effort. Because of these qualities, Erah has a high GPA and LEAP scores.

Erah is not just a dedicated student, she is also a dedicated classmate/friend. Erah brings a peaceful demeanor to the classroom. Although she is quiet, her calm spirit helps others stay on task and complete their work. If one of Erah’s group members is struggling she is one of the first to jump in and help them understand the concept. She is an awesome peer tutor because she shows the student how and asks the right questions to help her classmate understand the material. (She doesn’t just tell them the answer!)

The students, teachers, and administrators at Red River Elementary School are all extremely proud of Erah. Her future is bright and there is no doubt that Erah will continue to excel for years to come!
