The Red River Fire Board has hired a new Fire Chief. He is expected to begin work this week.
The board acted Monday morning at the monthly meeting to hire John Woodfin to be the new chief. He replaces acting chief Jeremy Neal who has held the position for the past few months.
Woodfin is expected to be on the job this week after completing the background check and drug test. Neal will help Woodfin with the transition process.
