Red River Coaches Honored

Retiring basketball coaches Missy Antilley and Keith Johnson were honored before the home crowd Friday night for their years of coaching the girls and boys basketball teams.

High School Teacher Darlene Martin posted, “Congratulations to Coaches Missy Hardy Antilley and Keith Johnson for their work at Red River High School. They were honored tonight for their accomplishments. They will both complete their coaching careers this season. 

Coach Antilley has over 250 wins throughout her career including 5 District Championships, 5 District Coach of the Year Awards, and 3 Top 28 Appearances.  This includes taking the Lady Bulldogs to the finals last spring.  They brought home the state runner-up trophy.

Coach Johnson has won over 415 games at Red River High, and a career total of over 500. He has 9 District Championships to his credit. He led the Bulldogs to the Top 28 8 times, coming away with 2 state championships and 4 State Runners-Up. Coach Johnson was the District Coach of the Year 9 times.
