The Red River Bulldogs traveled to Shreveport Friday night for their last non-district game. The Knights of Woodlawn Leadership Academy overpowered the Dawgs 57 to 42.
The Bulldogs took an early lead and were up one point at the end of the first quarter. But the Knights exerted their strength of size and skill to overcome that early lead.
The great effort for the Bulldogs was led by Marcus Brewer who scored 14 points. Closely followed was Antron Williams with 11. Other Dogs scoring were Trey Smith with 7, B. J. Harris with 6 and D’Evan McDonald with 5.
Tuesday night the Dawgs traveled to Winnfield where they got their first district victories. And Friday they will be in Many.
