The annual Ducks Unlimited was held last Thursday at the Coushatta Country Club. There was lots of food and drink, plenty of D-U merchandise to bid on, and a good time for getting together.
Local D-U Organizer Tray Murray said he was pleased with the turnout, despite complications brought about by the current pandemic. Funds raised go toward the wildlife conservation work by Ducks Unlimited.
There were very nice prizes lining the wall in the big hall at the Country Club. And other prizes and merchandise up for auction were displayed in the lounge area. Auctioneer Kent Crank from Nacogdoches, Texas told The Journal, “I’ll get the crowd excited and stirred up.” And he did. The bidding went fast and furious with most items bringing great prices.
