A personal note:  Where were you on the morning of September 11th, 2001.  If you are still in high school you were’t born yet.  If you are over 19, where were you.  I was at work doing my daily news talk show on KNOC, Natchitoches when we heard.  The TV in the newsroom was on and all channels interrupted.  We did the initial bulletin locally then joined ABC Radio for more coverage.  And we kept at it for days and days.  My first national story to cover was the assassination of JFK.  Then there was the RFK assassination.  And Martin Luther King.  Hurricane Katrina. And on and on.  Adrenaline kept us going and we kept the facts coming as the story developed.  So where were you on 9/11/2001?  Remember the feeling and pass it on to this generation and the next.

For many years the 5th grade class at Riverdale has been responsible for putting the flag up every morning and taking it down in the afternoon. Mrs. Katie and her 5th grade class are keeping the tradition alive! Thank you to Jay Donald for the new flag.
