Congratulations to the Red River Lady Bulldog Soccer Team. They have brought home two victories this week. On Tuesday they defeated Bossier High 1-0. Same score on Thursday with a 1-0 victory over Woodlawn High. This is the first time in the history of the Red River Soccer Program that a team has won back-to-back games.
The railroad crossing repair work that was originally scheduled for tomorrow, December 21sthas been postponed. DOTD said, “This road closure has Been RESCHEDULED for Saturday, January 11, 2020, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.” The road will be closed so the Kansas City Southern Railroad can repair the crossing on US 84 or E. Carroll St.

Drive carefully in the early morning fog we have had lately. The fog was so thick on Thursday morning that The Journal observed a water truck only doing 35 mph.
