Motor Vehicle Office Closed by Computer Problems

The Coushatta Office of Motor Vehicles office remained closed Thursday as state agencies work to recover from a statewide computer attack.  At mid-day Thursday, OMV announced that all offices statewide would remain closed through Monday, November 25th.

A news release from the state office said Motor Vehicle offices statewide remain closed until state computer systems can be secured.  On Monday there was a ransomware attack on state computer systems.

OMV said, “As electronic services are restored and tested for full operational capabilities, office openings will be evaluated and announced to the public.”
