Red River Defeats Holy Savior Menard

The Red River Bulldogs played the Holy Savior Menard Eagles last Friday night in the 4th game of district competition. The final score was 33 to 27.

The Bulldogs pick up another win for this season. The Bulldogs are now ranked 2nd in district behind the Many Tigers.   The Dogs are now are 5 and 2 overall and 3-1 in district.

The touchdowns of the night were scored by #3 Camron Keith and #5 Markell Washington. All extra points were kicked by #36 Ryder Hogan. With 30 seconds to go, Camron Keith managed to intercept a pass and run the ball 60 yards to score the last touchdown of the night. This allowed the Bulldogs to win the victory.

This Friday night, the Bulldogs will play the Lakeview Gators.  It is homecoming, so come early to get a great seat and get a close parking spot.  Journal Sports will be on the air about 6:45 with kickoff at 7:00.
