Coach John Bachman is inviting the community to come to practice on Friday. The team will work out on the new turf at Strother Memorial Stadium beginning at 6:30 pm.
Bachman told The Journal, “We want all Bulldog fans to join us Friday for an open practice. Come see the players go through their drills and run some plays.”
There will be no admission charged, however Bachman said they are asking for donations of snacks and supplies for the players. “We like to be able to provide a snack during practice. Donations of peanut butter and jelly, snack cakes, and other goodies will be welcomed. And we need cleaning supplies like Clorox wipes and paper towels. It is things for the players that are not budgeted.”
The coach said there will be a hot dog dinner served for $5.00. You will get a hot dog, bag of chips and bottle of water for $5.
Gates will open at 6:00 pm. Coach Bachman said to come early. The Junior High School football team will have a practice prior to the varsity practice.
