This week has seen some of the hottest days of the summer. Sweltering heat caused the weather service to issue heat advisories for the first two days this week. Heat indices in the 105-115 degree range were experienced all across Northwest Louisiana.
We are in for some relief. The weather service predicted a weak cold front bringing some relief and a chance of showers and thunderstorms. It would move into our area from the north.
That was supposed to start Tuesday evening. By this morning the temps are expected to be in the 80s. That is pretty warm, however not as warm as we have been experiencing.
