Registrations are now being accepted by both Head Start programs operating in Red River Parish this fall. Save the Children is running New Head Start and the School Board is operating Head Start.
Children from birth through two years of age are eligible for New Head Start. Students are now being signed up by Save the Children. They had a recruiting meeting this week at the Parent Center in Coushatta. Save the Children was signing up children for their operations in both Red River and DeSoto parishes.
Head Start is for children ages three and four and it is operating at Red River Elementary School. Christy Suggs submitted this information on their program.
