The Red River Parish Fire Protection District took part in a water rescue recently.  Here is their post:

07-22-19 at 11:14 p.m. RRFD was dispatched to the Red River just south of the boat launch for a water rescue. Victim was safely brought back to the boat launch with no injuries. Thank you RRSO, RREMS and CPD for all your help.

The name of the person rescued was not released.
