Veronica Celebrates Finding Freedom

“Hello, my name is Veronica.  I am a child of God and, thanks to God and my “forever family” at Celebrate Recovery (CR), I have victory over co-dependency and depression.”

I still have hurts, hang-ups, habits and character defects that I face “one day at a time”.  Our lives on this earth are filled with disappointments and hardships – divorce, death of a spouse, addiction of a loved one, medical diagnoses that we were not expecting, betrayal of friends, loss of a job, etc.

“CR is a program that addresses all these areas – and more.  It is a place where you can be honest and open and, if you are willing, find the freedom that we all have tried to find through alcohol, drugs, pornography, relationships, etc.

“CR has brought me closer to God and helped me find my purpose in life. God has taken my tests and given me a testimony (which is being written daily).  He has taken my messes and given me a message.  That message is one I share daily with others. You don’t have to deal with life alone.   Others who have taken the same journey as you are are willing to share their experiences, strength and hope with you.  You will learn tools to use to help you make better decisions. There is always someone to call for guidance and help. The steps outlined in the program are designed to teach you a more joyful way of living.”

Celebrate Recovery meets every Thursday evening at the Open Door Fellowship Church.  A meal is served at 5:30 p.m.  Our large group starts at 6:00  p.m.  Small group starts at 7:00 p.m.  We are usually adjourned by 8:00 p.m.  Childcare is provided.

Come out and join us because “You can’t.  God can.  Why don’t you let Him?”
