Dear RR Journal,
My name is Jared Longino and I am a Coushatta native who attended Riverdale Academy. After graduating from Northwestern State my career moved me through-out the USA and now has led me oversees. I am currently living in Germany with my wife and two children.
I was able to personally attend the 75th anniversary of D- Day in Normandy, France. The ceremonies were truly amazing and included speeches from both President Trump and France’s President Macron.
Before traveling to Normandy I did some research and found that two of our hometown men fought and died in Normandy. Ford A. Fields and Alford Loftin lost their lives and are now buried in the Normandy American Cemetery. After the ceremonies I was able to visit these two men and take photos that I would love to have you publish for our community to see.
