Red River Shooters Are Shooting Stars

The 4-H State Competitions were held April 15th-20th at Long Range Alley Gun Club and Shreveport Gun Club.  Almost all of the Red River participants placed in the top ten.

Adam Bryant placed 3rd in Trap in the Advanced Shooting Competition Friday, at Shreveport Gun Club in the Senior Division.

Nathan Tristan competed in the Senior Division Small-bore Rifle NRA .  He placed 7th placing him in the Top Ten.

Kaden Cason placed 8th finishing in the Top Ten in the Senior Modified Shotgun Division with a final score of 45/50.

Kenneth Lazarus, II shot for the first time in the Junior Advanced competition.  He placed 1st in Skeet, 5th in Sporting Clays and placed 2nd Overall, missing 1st place by 4 shots.  We are very proud of Kenneth and all of our 4-H shooters!

Jordan Friday and Braydon Chicola participated in the .22 Rifle Junior Division.  You don’t always bring home a medal, but this picture tells you what 4-H is all about.

We compete against other clubs and each other but we are friends and family at the end of the day and that’s more important than a medal.  We encourage each other and strengthen community relationships.  If you were not part of our 4-H family this year, please come out next year and try us.  We would love to have you!
