It is spring and time for the Red River Parish Library’s sale of books. The community room will be filled to overflowing for the event which begins May 9th.
Librarian Trey Lewis made the announcement, “Come one, come all to the 2019 Red River Parish Library Book Sale. The sale will be held May 9-11th in the meeting room of the Red River Parish Library during regular business hours 9-5 Thursday and Friday and 9-1 on Saturday.
“There will bargains galore with books magazines and DVD’s for sale cheap. Don’t miss your chance on some cut rate reading and entertainment. Like Christmas this comes but once a year…dont’ let it pass you by.
The Journal spoke with Children’s Librarian Kayla Sims recently. She was displaying several books at the Community Health Fair. Sims said these titles are representative of the vast supply of books that will be included in the Library’s book sale.
