Each year the top teachers at Red River schools are recognized. Last Monday night Superintendent Alison Hughes presented Teacher of the Year for each school to the School Board.
The teacher selected from Red River Elementary is Julie Inman. Teacher of the Year for Red River Junior High is Latonzia Beavers. And the teacher chosen from Red River High School is Rachel Urda.
They were introduced by Hughes and thanked for their dedication and service to students. Also each was presented with a plaque in recognition of their being selected Teacher of the Year.
