The Red River Parish Health Unit is observing National Nutrition Month with an open house. The event is scheduled from 4:30 to 5:30 Monday afternoon, March 4th.
Nursing Supervisor Yashica Turned asked The Journal to help spread the word that their staff will be on site during the open house to discuss healthy habits with visitors. The theme is “Help us help you!”
Turner said there will be plenty of information to assist people in making good nutrition choices. And they will have refreshments. The open house starts at 4:30 so come by after work on Monday.
Nationally Nutrition Month is observed every March.
