The Annual Coushatta Christmas Parade and Firework Show is tomorrow. Bring the whole family and your lawn chairs to enjoy the parade. There will be food vendors and entertainment also.

The parade will form up at the Meat Pie plant in the industrial park and roll out about 4:30 pm. The route takes the parade to Ringgold Avenue, then west across the railroad tracks. At that point the parade will turn down Front Street. Floats and groups will stop and perform before the judges on the downtown stage. The parade will travel on down Front Street and disband at the Methodist Church.

There will be entertainment from the stage for the whole family after the parade and until the firework show. Fireworks will begin about 6:00 pm and all of Front Street will have a great view.

The Red River Parish Journal will stream live video from the Stage beginning about 4:30. Viewers will be able to see all the performances for the judges. Front Street will be blocked to traffic, so come early and reserve your spot along the parade route. Many businesses in town are closing about 2:30 for the parade.
