It was a “hoco” of a time in the Junior High School Gym that hosted the High School Homecoming Dance on Saturday night. It had been several years since the High School offered a Homecoming Dance so Teacher Nikki Smith, Teacher Christal Carper, Coach Johnson and help from a few others rolled out the red carpet for the kids so they could put their Hollywood fun on and dance.

Popcorn, soft drinks and candy were served and loved by all. The awesome DJ playing that night provided a variety of music from country to hip hop and kept the floor hot with dancing which was done as a couple and/or line dancing individually.

Awards given out that night include Best Dressed to Claire York (pictured with Savanna Campbell). Best Coordinated Couple award went to Pierce Kellogg and Gracie Baker. The award for Best Entrance was presented to Josiah Jackson and Cammie Gardner.

The dance started at 7:00 pm and ended around 11:00 pm. There were 112 in attendance. There were three police officers in attendance that voluntarily worked the evening making sure all were safe.
