Red River High School is celebrating Manufacturing Week with several field trips for our Vocational Students. This past week Mrs. Dees and Mr. Bell took 15 students to Benteler Steel in Shreveport. They received a tour the facility and they learned about how the things we are doing at Red River High in our Jumpstart Vocational Programs get them ready for real life and jobs after high school.

Day 2 of our Manufacturing Week involved a tour of a plant in Red River Parish. Students got to see a great facility at ADA Carbon Solutions at Armistead. Mrs. Dees said, “We love the fact that we have opportunities right here in our town for our kids to go straight from school to work.”
