Natchitoches Hope For Paws offers its services to residents of Red River Parish. Kay Kaufmann, a resident of the parish, told The Journal there is no local animal control available in our parish, so Natchitoches Hope For Paws is including Red River in their programs.

Kaufman said, “Our Spay/Neuter Program for 2018 is up and running! Funds are limited so please submit your application from our website link posted below and send yours in today! Please answer all questions on the form to prevent delay. You must choose your own veterinarian. NHFP will not choose one for you. This program is for Natchitoches Parish and Red River Parish residents only.
