On February 1, 2018 at approximately 9:30 a.m., investigators with the Red River Parish Sheriff’s Office responded to criminal complaints at a residence located in the Rolling Hills Trailer Park off of U.S. Highway 71 south of Coushatta. Upon arrival, deputies made contact with the resident, identified as Jennifer M. Bamburg. Two additional adults were inside the dwelling, as well as two minor children. The subsequent investigation led to the arrest of all three occupants who were transported to the Red River Parish Jail and booked as follows.
Jennifer M. Bamburg, W/F, age 39 of the 100 block of Rolling Hills, Coushatta, LA was charged with one count each of the following: Possession of Marijuana, Illegal Use of Controlled Dangerous Substance (CDS) in Presence of Persons Under 17 years of age, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Schedule II CDS with Intent to Distribute (Child Endangerment Act) and Possession of Schedule I CDS (MDMA) with Intent to Distribute. Total bond was set at $14,450 – remains incarcerated as of 2-5-18.
Johnathan J. Beaner, B/M, age 37 of the 1500 block of Newton Road, Coushatta, LA was charged with Possession of a Firearm or Carrying Concealed Weapon by a Felon. Bond was set at $50,000 – remains incarcerated as of 2-5-18.
Haley Hughes, W/F, age 27 of the 600 block of Layfield Road, Coushatta, LA was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Bond was set at $1,000 – posted bond on 2-5-18.
